13x23 is a retrospective archive dispersal of a collection of 299 random images expressing manifold years of artistic intrigue- created between both houses numbered 13 in stockport,, and all other locations...

chevron hargreaves was born on the M62 motorway between manchester and leeds circa 2005ad... ...a near fatal climbing accident a couple of years before had halted a career in the construction industry, whether as a builder , or architect.. previously studying art and design in manchester and dundee, in a very cursory manner, slapdash perhaps; gaining an education, but little qualification.. the rise after the fall was meteoric, and more deranged than the education, diverting, perhaps at times amusing too; although, ultimately tragic in part,,, often a struggle to fully function, or function at all adequately- the artistic vocation has been stuttering and stumbling, but always lingering below the surface, slowly simmering, like a caterpillar in its chrysalis.. chevron would especially like to thank the constancy and strength of mum and dad for their unwavering support and encouragement, also dear sisters and bros and all contributing mortals, animals, vegetables and minerals; the wonder is all around us!
